He also created the short film, "Time Enforcer" which was purchased by the sci-fi streaming platform, Dust, and screened to great response at film festivals such as Fantastic Fest and Hollyshorts. Jared has written/produced short animations for Bento Box and Cartuna. Jared co-created/wrote/produced the Adult Swim SMALLS series, "Mayor Mochi" which is distributed through Adult Swim's YouTube Channel. Jared first came on as the Co-Director/Curator of Silver Lake Shorts in January 2022. Since joining Silver Lake Shorts, Jared helped the screening series grow into one of the most popular festivals in Los Angeles, featuring cutting-edge indie films and animations and filling to audience capacity every screening.

Sharpe founded Silver Lake Shorts in 2019. Ben previously spent six years booking and managing the historic Silver Lake venue El Cid that reestablished it as an iconic Los Angeles venue. Ben has helped organize and book thousands of different events from dance parties to burlesque shows and screenings, both public and private.

Ball is a 2D traditional and experimental animation director & designer. Most recently, she was a character designer for Adult Swim's Tuca & Bertie and Netflix's upcoming series Long Story Short. She is also the founder and curator of the LA-based screening series "Loose Frames."

Colton Dempsey is a creative director and producer specializing in product and brand development. After graduating from The University of Texas, Dempsey moved to New York, where he was recruited by the WWE creative team as a writer's assistant for Monday Night RAW and SmackDown LIVE. After traveling the world with the promotion, Dempsey relocated to Los Angeles, where he worked as a writer/producer on the Justin Roiland claymation series Gloop World and on Rick and Morty, Solar Opposites, and Squanch Games as Roiland's executive assistant and writer's assistant. After discovering the Decentralize Art movement, Dempsey founded CUBE, a blockchain media agency which produced products generating over $11M in client revenue and $100M in aggregate trading volume. Dempsey's newest venture is Puddy Studios, an organization focused on decentralizing the internet, media, and gaming by building a free and sustainable network. He also serves as the technical director of the non-profit organization Silver Lake Shorts and designed the website you're looking at now.

Karissa is a Local 700 Editor, Artist & Animator based in Los Angeles, California. She received a B.F.A in Film, Photography & Visual Arts from Ithaca College and has 11 years of experience in the animation industry. She has worked with various studios to create animated series, shorts, documentaries, commercial spots, trailers, and reels for clients like Disney+, Netflix, Hulu, Apple+, Peacock, Nickelodeon, TBS, ESPN, & Adult Swim. Karissa worked for 5 years at DreamWorks Animation as an Assistant Editor in their TV Editorial department on over a dozen shows including Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. Karissa loves connecting the pieces of the puzzle & bringing compelling stories to life within the world of animation.

Hannah Ulmen is an LA-based creative with a background in directing, writing and editing. With experiences across film projects big and small, she’s worked on major productions like Spider-Man to directing music videos for local bands. When she’s not checking you in at Silver Lake Shorts monthly screenings, Hannah’s probably rewatching 30 Rock with her pet cat & tortoise, her husband and their infant son Kieran.

Natalie Watson is a Los Angeles–based producer with a background in film and television post-production, currently working as a Finishing Producer at Picture Shop. She has contributed to series, features, and documentaries for networks including Amazon, Netflix, Disney, and ESPN, supporting creative teams through the final stages of storytelling.

Rachy is a brand strategist and creative producer specializing in animation, gaming, and internet culture. Raised in Burbank with a lifelong passion for animation, she studied at UC Berkeley before working at the leading anime companies in America, Crunchyroll and VIZ Media. She brings a multidisciplinary approach to brand storytelling with her design, illustration, animation, and video skills. Rachy has led successful international campaigns for AAA anime franchises, such as BLEACH, NARUTO, and JUJUTSU KAISEN. She has also contributed to production, localization, and casting for various anime shows and video games. She has collaborated closely with studios, publishers, and streaming partners like Shueisha, Studio Pierrot, TOHO, Toei Animation, TV Tokyo, WEBTOON, Hulu, and Netflix on global marketing efforts that resonate with communities worldwide while honoring the original creator's vision.

Di Pasquale is a producer and development executive who has built her career championing left-of-center and emerging voices in comedy and animation. She is currently the Head of Development for Animation+. Before that, she served as VP of development at Look Mom! Productions, where she oversaw series at Hulu, Roku, and CBS Studios. In her role as an independent Producer, she developed series with Peacock and Bandera Entertainment, Adult Swim & Abso Lutely, Bento Box, Starburns, Blink Industries and Comedy Bang! Bang! Projects that she produced have screened at Sundance, Tribeca, and TIFF. Formerly, she spent three years as VP of Original Series at Super Deluxe and worked on shows like Nathan for You, Hot Package, and Pound House.

Weiner is a non-profit leader and marketing strategist based in LA. With a decade of non-profit experience, she serves as Executive Director of the Hollywood Historic Trust, helping preserve Hollywood's rich and vibrant history. Her work includes creating and managing major marketing campaigns with the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Hollywood Sign, Sherman Oaks Galleria, Sherman Oaks Street Fair, Chevrolet, the BET Awards, and others. Outside of work, Lily enjoys making handmade paper and other mixed media arts.

Prynoski is the Emmy award winning founder and owner of Titmouse, an animation production company with offices in Los Angeles, New York and Vancouver. His animation career began in New York with his work on MTV shows such as Beavis and Butt-Head, Daria and his Emmy nominated creation, Downtown. Chris and his wife Shannon moved to LA to launch Titmouse, a home for passionate artists making high-quality cartoons. Prynoski has helped bring to life a string of hits including Metalocalypse, China IL, Black Dynamite, Superjail!, The Venture Bros, Big Mouth, The Legend of Vox Machina, Star Trek: Lower Decks and many more! He wears many hats, including executive producing, show running and directing.

Buckelew is an award-winning animator and director based in Los Angeles, California. He received his MFA from the California Institute of the Arts in Experimental Animation and a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In 2019, he was the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship. Sean is a Writer and Director on Scavengers Reign and Common Side Effects. In 2020 he co-founded Green Street Pictures, an independent animation studio. He is also President of the Board of Directors and Head Programmer at the GLAS Animation Festival.

Belfer is the founder and CEO of Cartuna, an award-winning, Brooklyn-based, full-service animation studio. Belfer has produced original series and feature films with NBC Universal, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, 20th Century, UCP, Fox, Nick Jr., Facebook Watch, SYFY, Peacock and YouTube Originals. As an independent film producer, Belfer has produced 15 feature films. He has premiered work at the Sundance Film Festival nine times, winning the 2011 Grand Jury Prize for the film 'Like Crazy' and a 2016 Special Jury Prize for the animated documentary 'NUTS!'. His films have also premiered at SXSW, Berlinale (Golden Bear for Best Director), Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Ottawa International Animation Festival, Tribeca Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival. In 2023, Belfer joined the advisory board of The Block Museum of Art at Northwestern University. Belfer is a graduate of Northwestern University and received his MBA from NYU Stern School of Business. Since 2013, Belfer has been an adjunct professor for NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
